Adventures Sign To Run For Cover Records

Pittsburgh-based quintet Adventures are notable both for their melodic twist on the emo/punk sound and the fact that three of their members moonlight in the crushingly heavy Code Orange Kids. Over the course of two EPs and a split with Run, Forever, they have proven to be one of the scene’s best young bands, and today they announced that the next stage of their career will be spent with Boston’s Run For Cover Records.

Fans who have been itching for a follow-up to the Run, Forever split are in luck, since Adventures have two more releases planned for 2014. The first is a split with labelmates Pity Sex, which will feature a new song and a cover of Turning Point’s “Behind This Wall.” Later in the year, the band will release their debut full-length. When details about those releases emerge, we’ll make sure you’re the first to know.

Tomorrow, Adventures will begin touring the US in support of another great Run For Cover band, Seahaven. Dates for the tour, which runs through June 1, are available right here.
