In the age where anniversary tours and nostalgic posts about how so-and-so album molded the music scene forever flood our feeds almost weekly now, one can’t help but appreciate it when a band goes out of their way to talk about how influential another band’s work was to their music careers and ventures.
You Blew It!, a band that’s at the forefront of the emo revival, is doing just that, in their own personal way.
With Weezer’s The Blue Album being twenty years old this week, You Blew It! has announced that they will be recording a five-song cover EP, cleverly entitled You Blue It, which will be released digitally July 15. Also, make sure you catch this band live. If you’re across the pond, see them with Real Friends and Modern Baseball, or when they come to America with Say Anything. Both tours are sure to be spectacular. See the tracklist for You Blue It below:

You Blue It will be available digitally July 15 and in physical form August 12.
