Lykke Li must be hungry, because the Swedish songstress has got a lot on her plate. Not only did she just release her new album I Never Learn this month, but she’s contributing songs to numerous films as well. Talk about an appetite.
Her new song, titled “No One Ever Loved,” was written as a part of the forthcoming soundtrack for The Fault In Our Stars. It’s emotional and poignant, just like the novel-turned-film. Her quiet, piano ballad structure is set up to get the tears running when the film comes out on June 6. Check it out after the jump.
The Fault In Our Stars soundtrack also features Ray Lamontagne, Charli XCX, M83, and STRFKR and will be out May 19. Give Charli XCX’s contribution, “Boom Clap,” a listen here.
