If you’re anything like us and simply could not stop listening to “Clairvoyant” last year, then you likely got as excited as we did when The Story So Far announced Songs Of, a five-track EP of acoustic songs featuring new versions of “Bad Luck,” “All Wrong” and “The Glass,” along with a new track and a Bob Marley cover. That new track is titled “Navy Blue” and the band is streaming it today.
Similarly heart-wrenching as the excellent “Clairvoyant,” TSSF show that they have just as much to offer in a stripped down setting as they do in their high-energy, pop-punk wheelhouse we’re used to. “Navy Blue” is beautiful and poignant with Parker Cannon’s vocals proving strong as ever. You can stream the new song after the break.
Songs Of will be released on June 17 through Pure Noise Records. There are some killer pre-order packages available now.
