WATCH: Paul McCartney Surpasses Human Race (Again) By Making Friends With Robot In New Music Video

Let’s face it — we’ve always known Paul McCartney is cooler than a normal human. The man who has brought us timeless music for five decades yet again shows us no signs of slowing with his new music video, “Appreciate.” Coming straight off of the rejuvenating 2013 release, NEW, “Appreciate” is a chapter out of Paul’s new age psychedelia book. Upon watching, you’ll see the former Beatle tango (no, literally, he dances) with Newman, a life-like robot that mirrors the sophistication heard on the track.

According to paulmccartney.com, Paul had this to say about the unique project: “I woke up one morning with an image in my head of me standing with a large robot. I thought it might be something that could be used for the cover of my album NEW but instead the idea turned out to be for my music video for “Appreciate.” Together, with the people who had done the puppetry for the worldwide hit War Horse, we developed the robot who became Newman.”
