Ceremony to Begin Recording This Month, Announce Summer Tour Dates

Ceremony

Rohnert Park, California punks Ceremony have announced they’ll be hitting the studio at the end of this month to record the follow-up to 2012’s fantastic Zoo. The band also announced a slew of summer headlining tour dates, as well as some shows alongside the likes of Nothing, Iron Lung and Boris.

Zoo marked a departure from the band’s chaotic hardcore sound into more of a post-punk direction. It also gained the band much more mainstream exposure than their previous efforts, as it was impossible to watch ESPN for more than 10 minutes in the summer of 2012 without hearing “Hysteria” during an X-Games commercial. It’ll be interesting to see how their sound continues to evolve with their next album, but until then, click through to find out when you can catch the explosive live band playing in your city.
