The Knife Announce Mini-Album, Share “Without You My Life Would Be Boring (Shaken-Up Version)” Video

Influential electronic, experimental, indie Swedish duo The Knife brought their highly theatrical and entertaining live show to the US this year, showing several reworkings of songs off their 2013 album Shaking The Habitual. Many of those reworked tracks will be available on a new mini-album called Shaken-Up Versions that’s out digitally on June 17 via Rabit/Brille/Mute (which you can pre-order here) and on vinyl and CD later this summer.

One of the new “Shaken-Up Versions” is “Without You My Life Would Be Boring” which also got an accompanying music video. Directed by Bitte Anderson, the video shows musicians dressed in red singing along to the song while they bring life to an otherwise dreary hospital thanks to a literal ball of energy. Take note of the all-inclusive cast, something The Knife no doubt wanted to make sure was present considering their roles as activists for equality and acceptance. A digital-only “Without You My Life Would Be Boring” remix EP is out today and available to purchase here.
