Vanna Kick Ass And Take Names With “Piss Up A Rope”

The Boston based post-hardcore kings known as Vanna have released a second promotional single off their upcoming studio album.

“Piss Up A Rope” is the kind of no holds barred, punch your momma in the face if she steps out of line track that has become a staple of Vanna’s recent releases. From the moment its disorienting guitar lines begin to fight their way through the fuzz of the track’s opening moments it is clear the band is through holding back. When the verse finally kicks in the very best moments of edge-drive hardcore from the early 2000s come pouring through the speakers with an evolved sense of aggression that is owed almost entirely to the passionate delivery of vocalist Davey Muise. This is not a song for the faint of heart:

Void, Vanna’s fifth studio album, will hit stores on June 17 through Pure Noise Records. The band has literally nothing to prove this far into their career, but with each release they challenge themselves and their fans to consider heavy music in a new way. They may not reinvent the wheel, but they are certainly doing their part to try and help it evolve.

Pre-orders for Void are available now. Place an order today.
