Last year, the refined gentlemen over at FilmDrunk and the FilmDrunk Frotcast launched a Kickstarter campaign with the promise they’d attend the Gathering of the Juggalos and film a documentary of their experiences if they were able to raise enough money to fund the project. And of course the campaign proved successful because, you know, it’s basically the greatest idea ever.
The result is a fascinating, insightful look into juggalo culture, as well as a surprisingly well-made documentary. And now, Whoop Dreams has finally made its way online via Hulu! It can be viewed in full below, but I feel obligated to warn you that it is not for the faint of heart and most certainly NSFW.
The film also captures the Gathering in its final year at its Cave-In-Rock, Illinois location, as the festival will now make its home in Thornville, Ohio with the 15th Gathering set to take place in July.
