MUSIC VIDEO: Foster The People – “Best Friend”

Foster The People released their sophomore album, Supermodel, this past March, and they recently revealed a music video for the record’s latest single, “Best Friend,” which you can watch after the break. The clip takes place at a surreal fashion show, and it alternates between live action and animation as things get weird.

In an interview with MTV, vocalist Mark Foster explained the concept behind the strange video: “It’s a commentary on the modeling industry and the fashion industry and the pressures women feel and girls feel every day,” he said. “It’s a playful take on that; it’s not too heavy handed.”
