50 Cent Reunites G-Unit At Summer Jam, Debuts “Cuffin Season” Remix

Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert took place in New York City last night, and as expected there were a few surprises along the way. Most notably, at least as far as we are concerned, came from none other than 50 Cent.

Taking the stage well into the evening’s events, 50 Cent shocked fans by reuniting the recently broken up G-Unit (sans Game). The crowd went wild, so much so that the appearance of Fabolous caused a fight to break out, but things eventually calmed down enough for the group to perform a few tracks against a wall of screaming rap fans. Watch a video of the initial reunion below:

This occurrence alone would have solidified 50 Cent’s appearance as one of the biggest of the evening, but the superstar then took things to another level by debuting a brand new remix for “Cuffin Season” alongside his G-Unit brothers. A video of that performance can be viewed below, but don’t go in expecting the sound quality to be all that great.

50 Cent will release his new album, Animal Ambition, tomorrow. The future of the G-Unit remains unknown, but it’s likely we will learn more about the group’s plans in the weeks ahead. Stay tuned.
