‘I Am Road Comic’ Trailer: A New Documentary On Life As A Stand-up Comedian

In 2010, a film called I Am Comic arrived on the indie market with the goal of showing audiences what it’s like to live the life of a professional comedian. Four years later, filmmaker Jordan Brady is dipping his toes in the comedic world once again for his latest documentary feature, I Am Road Comic.

Featuring interviews with T.J. Miller, Marc Maron, Pete Holmes, Judah Friedlander, Niki Glaser, W. Kamau Bell, Maria Bamford, Doug Benson, Wayne Federman, Jen Kirkman, Tom Rhodes, Jim Norton, Alonzo Bodden and more, I Am Road Comic aims to offer viewers an in-depth look at what it means to be a working comedian in 2014. The first trailer was released this morning, and as expected it offers hearty portions of both laughter and thought-provoking insight about the state of professional comedy today. You can view the clip below:

I Am Road Comic has not been given a release date, but over the weekend Doug Benson told a live audience in Boston he believed the film would be out this summer. Whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen, but we will continue to bring you information on the film and its impending release as additional details begin to surface.
