Required Listening: G-Eazy – “The Day It All Changed”

Capping off a week filled with free music, G-Eazy has delivered an additional These Things Happen b-side to keep fans excited for his upcoming debut album.

“The Day It All Changed” was recorded earlier this year while G-Eazy was in the studio working on These Things Happen. He loved the song, and he originally planned to put it on the album, but when the time came to create the track listing there was no room for this song to appear on the record. So, in an attempt to still share the audio with fans, G decided to include “The Day It All Changed” with his recent BitTorrent bundle. You can stream and download the song below.

G-Eazy catches a lot of crap online from people who think his approach to rapping is a little slow and lazy, but here we find the aggression that is always simmer just below the surface of his seemingly cool demeanor. The cocky and confident young man that built his own empire from the ground up makes it known he recognizes the position he has put himself in and vows to not let the opportunities presented pass him by. It’s thrilling, it’s exciting, it’s everything I hope These Things Happen will be.

The BitTorrent bundle we mentioned above is still available for download. In addition to this song, the package also featured a never-before-heard remix EP, which you can stream right here on UTG.

These Things Happen hits stores later this month. Pre-orders are available now.
