Childish Gambino Teases Collaborative EP With Chance The Rapper

Chance The Rapper made an appearance with Childish Gambino at Governors Ball in New York City this weekend, and during his time on stage the young Chicago rapper debuted a lost verse from the Gambino track “Worst Guys.” You can view a fan-shot video of the performance at the end of this post.

Fans had known of Chance’s verse prior to Gambino releasing Because The Internet, but no one ever really knew why the contribution was left off the final release. Truth be told, we still don’t and perhaps never will. What we do know, however, is that Chance and Childish may have more music on the way in the near future. Not long after news of Chance’s performance began making its way across the net Childish teased the possibility of a proper release from the pair, tweeting “now that chance finally released his verse on “worst guys”, maybe he can hurry up and finish the rest of our EP. #hinthint”

Don’t you mess with us, Donald Glover. Our hearts can’t take the possibility of a letdown.

Chance has yet to respond to the tweet, but it did not take long for hip hop bloggers and fans alike to begin fantasizing about the potential for greatness such a release would possess. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for updates and bring you more information as soon as additional details can be confirmed. Follow UTG on Twitter for up to the minute entertainment news.
