The Devil Wears Prada have released the official music video for their 8:18 fan favorite, “Sailor’s Prayer.”
Released on YouTube early this morning, “Sailor’s Prayer” finds the members of The Devil Wears Prada abandoning the dark look and themes of their previous videos to present fans with a one of a kind puppet show. The story follows a sailor (obviously) who spends a year away from his loved one, and in that time inhabits a bar where he shares his memories with anyone willing to listen. It’s admittedly a little sad, but if you stick around things eventually take a turn for the better. You can view the clip below:
I know some people who love The Devil Wears Prada, but hate the idea of spending even a few seconds staring at a dead-eyed puppet. This clip will probably stress them out.
The Devil Wears Prada are one of more than seventy bands participating on this summer’s Warped Tour, which kicked off earlier today in Houston. Click here for dates and ticket information.
