With a June tour with The Menzingers kicking off and a July tour with Kind of Like Spitting to come, Lemuria has released a music video for “Brilliant Dancer.” The song was a single off of last summer’s Bridge 9-released The Distance Is So Big, and it proved to be one of the album’s best tracks.

“We gave Phil Freedenburg a few tools to work with and he nailed it,” read Lemuria’s accompanying Facebook post.

The resulting video, which premiered on Noisey, is as DIY as it gets. We’re talking half a shoestring budget; the camera is never quite still, the live footage is like an unofficial YouTube fan video, and some of the effects give me flashbacks to clips my friends put together in the 90s. if you’re into that stuff, you might very well love it. Either way, it’s a good reminder of a great song as the band heads out on tour. Catch the video and the tour dates after the jump.
