Godsmack and Seether Lead 2014 Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival Lineup

After attempts to go alternative in 2013 with a lineup that featured Alice in Chains, Jane’s Addiction, Coheed and Cambria and Circa Survive resulted in spotty ticket sales, it was widely expected that the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival would revert back to its tried-and-true format of booking a more mainstream lineup stacked with radio-friendly rock acts.

Well, those suspicions have proven accurate, as the lineup and initial tour dates have finally been announced. Godsmack, Seether, Skillet and Buckcherry top the lineup, while Pop Evil, Escape The Fate, Redlight King, Sons of Revelry, These Raven Skies, Tattered and yes, a burlesque show from The Suicide Girls round out the bill. Three Years Hollow, Within Reason and New Medicine will appear on select dates.

Godsmack recently debuted “1000hp,” the lead single and title track from their upcoming album due out on August 5. That clip, along with the Uproar Festival announcement video can be seen and heard below. I’ve also included the initial tour dates, though a slew of TBA dates will eventually be announced to fill in the gaps. Tickets for the majority of these shows go on sale this Friday, June 20.
