Pinback Announce ‘Summer In Abaddon’ 10th Anniversary Tour Dates With Tera Melos

Indie rock got a prog update when Pinback first hit the scene in 1998. Fast forward to today and the San Diego dudes are still running fast, most recently having dropped the bright, upbeat Information Retrieved in 2012. Arguably their best album, however, is 2004’s Summer In Abaddon, an excellent showcase of Rob Crow’s distinct vocals and Armistead Burwell Smith IV’s status as one of the best modern bass players. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Pinback are touring North America this fall with math rockers Tera Melos in tow.

To honor the record’s anniversary, Touch & Go is reissuing the album on limited edition maroon vinyl. It can be purchased at any of the band’s tour dates or through Touch & Go’s website here.
