Destructo Recruits YG For “Party Up”

Given the amount of attention YG has received in 2014 I suppose it was only a matter of time before Compton’s latest export entered the world of EDM.

Enter Destructo. Having already built a strong following in the world of dance music, Destructo has recruited YG in an attempt to find some crossover success with his new single, “Party Up.” The pulsating track offers a steady thumping bass line and light synth accompaniment, with YG channeling Jay Z’s verse from Drake’s “Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2.” You can stream the track, in full, below:

YG has been everywhere in the months since his debut album, My Krazy Life, arrived in stores. If you have yet to check out that release, click here to read our full review.
