We’ve been smitten with Brooklyn four-piece Salt Cathedral‘s music for a little while now. With a style that floats somewhere between indie synthpop, subtle math rock, and sugary vocal heaven, Salt Cathedral are well worth your time and attention. Their 2013 self-titled EP won us over with “Take Me To The Sea,” and now we get a taste of new material with “Tease.”
The song places sweet falsettos alongside some catchy electronic riffs, toy piano, and a synth+drum combo that steers the whole thing smoothly. If you’re headed home after work and looking for a way to alleviate that headache but still feel those summertime vibes, this is for you.
Check out the song below. If it leaves you wanting more, head here to see their weird music video for “Fields.”
