If You Don’t Want Nightmares, Definitely Don’t Watch The New Code Orange Music Video

Code Orange Kids 2012

A few weeks back, Code Orange set the internet abuzz by shortening their name (which until that point had been Code Orange Kids), and announcing a new album, I Am King. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting new material from the Pittsburgh foursome, and yesterday, the group delivered in the form of a new single also titled “I Am King.” Check out the track’s accompanying video after the break.

Viewer be warned: this clip is not for the faint of heart. Rapid cut scenes and disturbing cult-like imagery make for a guaranteed sensory overload as the band tears it up in what I can only assume is the barn from the end of Jeepers Creepers 2. I’m still not quite sure what I just watched, but I’m pretty positive that I won’t be sleeping well for the next few days.

Let us know what you think of group’s new sound in the replies below, and be on the lookout for pre-order information in the months ahead.
