WATCH: My Iron Lung – “In Defense of Drowning”

My Iron Lung

In anticipation of My Iron Lung‘s new full-length, Relief, the band has been so kind as to offer us new tracks periodically. We’ve heard a few; “Commonwealth” and “Day Dream,” so far. Now they have posted a lyric video to another song that is going to be on Relief, called “In Defense of Drowning.”

Besides the new album, the band has been staying busy with live shows all over the place this year, and now they’re out on the Common Vision Tour, which is hosted by their label, Pure Noise. Besides My Iron Lung, it will feature Hundredth, Counterparts, Handguns, and more. It’s a 26-date tour, which started this week and will last until the middle of August. Make sure you get to a stop near you to experience these bands live.

Check out the video for “In Defense of Drowning” below and if you haven’t already, Relief is now available for pre-order. Head over to their MerchNow page and get it in CD or LP format. Don’t sleep on this record.

Relief is out July 8 via Pure Noise.

Corey From

Corey From, from Kansas City, MO, when not thinking about or listening to music, obsessively thinks about Royals baseball, a platter of ribs (or BBQ in general) and cold beer. Nothing special really.
