Brace yourself: The Wonder Years have released a new song, kind of.
The undisputed kings of new-school pop-punk have released a full-band version of “Living Room Song” over at Alt Press. The acoustic version of the track originally appeared as an elusive Japanese B-side to 2011’s Suburbia I’ve Given You All And Now I’m Nothing, and has since been released as a bonus track on the deluxe edition of the record. I personally believe that the acoustic version is far superior, but it’s great to have both versions around.
The song will be released through No Sleep Records’ A Comp For Mom on August 5. The comp serves as a memorial for No Sleep founder Chris Hansen’s mother, who passed away earlier this year.
Check out “Living Room Song” after the jump and let us know what you think.
