It has been nine long years, but the metal gods have finally blessed us with a North American King Diamond tour. The 19-date run kicks off on October 11 in Atlanta and wraps with the heavy metal icon’s previously announced headlining set at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest on November 8.

King Diamond will be joined by longtime band members Andy LaRocque, Mike Weed, Hal Pacino and Matt Thompson, while an opening act for the tour will be announced at a later date. The announcement also notes he will be bringing along his full European festival stage production for these dates.
