United Nations Share “Meanwhile On Main Street”

The politically-charged, screaming punk band by the name of United Nations have been rousing the flames again as of late. With their latest full-length, The Next Four Years, being released on July 15, it’s certainly welcomed and expected.

The supergroup which is comprised of Geoff Rickley (Thursday) and members of Pianos Become the Teeth, shared the first track from the album,” Serious Business,” with us earier this month. And today they released the track “Meanwhile On the Street.”

This song is just as you would expect if you’ve been keeping up with the band, but not to the point of boredom. It’s intense, in your face and angry. It’s some of the most passion-filled music we’ve heard from Rickley in a long time.

Check it out after the jump and be sure to see the band on tour if you get the chance, as it’s sure to be a crazy show. And you can now pre-order The Next Four Years, which is out on July 15 via Temporary Residence.
