Three cheers for combining great forces! Chicago’s roots-rock group Califone and Bon Iver folk collaborator S. Carey will be hitting the road together this fall in a co-headlining tour. They both will split up after departing the East Coast–then opening for musicians like The War on Drugs and American Football–but will rock these September dates like they’re the long lost friends we imagine they are.

Last year Califone put out a new LP titled Stitches and S. Carey released Range of Light a few months ago. Both are accomplished full-lengths worth checking out, especially considering their prime listening season is fall.
