Head Wound City (Members of The Blood Brothers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Locust) To Reunite In September

The mid-2000s’ noisegrind supergroup, Head Wound City will be taking the stage for their first time in eight years…and also their second show ever. The group will be playing at BEDROCKtoberfest in Los Angeles on September 20. An all ages show has also been set up for the following night at The Smell.

Head Wound City is the ultra-thrashy noise project featuring The Blood Brothers‘ Jordan Billie and Cody Votolato, Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ Nick Zinner, and The Locust‘s Justin Pearson and Gabe Serbian. Their only recording is their 2005 self-titled EP on Three One G.

Zinner is the curator of BEDROCKtoberfest, which has only announced Head Wound City and Deap Valley for the lineup so far. Although, according to the poster, live magic will be happening at the festival.
