Judas Priest Will Tour The U.S. With Steel Panther This Fall

As Judas Priest prepare to release their 17th studio album Redeemer of Souls on July 8, the heavy metal icons have announced a fall U.S. tour to support the album. The tour kicks off on October 1 in Rochester, New York. Glam metal revivalists Steel Panther have been tapped to open all dates, though Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest still hasn’t confirmed a Steel Panther appearance at the festival, which Judas Priest headlines on November 7.

Redeemer of Souls marks the band’s first album without K.K. Downing, as the founding guitarist was replaced by Richie Faulkner in 2011. I’ve included the album’s opening track “Dragonaut” along with the tour itinerary below.
