Lil Wayne Proves He Is Still “Krazy” On New ‘Carter V’ Track

“They paint me as a villain / I just autograph the artwork.”

Lil Wayne continues to raise fans’ excitement for the forthcoming release of Tha Carter V this afternoon with the premiere of a new song titled “Krazy.”

2014 has been the year of the comeback for Lil Wayne. Though he never left the spotlight, the last several releases from the New Orleans native were met with almost as much disgust as they were praise. This year, however, Wayne has delivered a streak of hits that has corrected essentially every wrong, including the inescapable radio hit “Believe Me.”

“Krazy” keeps Weezy’s streak of delivering fire alive and well with four and a half minutes of bars on bars. Wayne addresses everything from the haters, to the fact Young Money is not going anywhere anytime soon. You can hear hints of the same passion that fueled fan favorites like Tha Carter III, but it’s wrapped around an evolved world perspective that has seemingly allowed Wayne to return to his rhyme-spitting roots while still pushing the envelope. You can stream the single, in full, below:

Tha Carter V still has no release date, but with at least three singles available it’s hard to imagine Weezy will keep us waiting much longer. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
