Famous Last Words Ask Fans To Help With Upcoming Suicide Prevention Themed Music Video

There are many musicians in the hardcore/punk scenes that have vocally come out against suicide. Many of them also actively participate in various organizations to help let fans know there are other options out there.

Famous Last Words have decided that they will take an active stance on the issue of suicide, and their tactic will be a little different from what we’re used to. They announced earlier today that they will be making a music video in support of suicide prevention. They then asked fans to provide pictures and details for any loved ones who have committed suicide. The band indicated that they plan on including those pictures and details in their video. You can read the details below as well as see where to send those photos if you are interested in participating.

Hey Guys!

So the cat’s out of the bag about what the theme of our newest music video will be…Suicide Prevention.

A few people involved in making this video have had their lives affected by suicide, whether it be a friend or family member. At the end of the video (not to give too much away), we are going to have a little segment where we will show pictures of these people in remembrance. With the pictures it will have their full name, date of birth, and the date they passed away.

We would also like to invite you to also submit pictures of any friends or family of yours who have taken their lives. So if you have anyone you would like us to memorialize at the end of our video, please send the person’s picture, full name, date of birth, and the date they passed away to dave@outerloopmanagement.com.

We will do what we can to use all the submissions that we are sent. This will run starting today – 7/13/14 (1 week). So please, if this is something you would like to get involved with, please do!

Thanks guys, and we can’t wait for you to see this!
