ALBUM STREAM: Rise Against – ‘The Black Market’

Following an extensive promotional run and a hard-hitting single, Rise Against have begun streaming their new album, The Black Market, a full week ahead of its official release. Give it a listen here via ITunes, and if you’re a fan, pick up a pre-order through the band’s official website.

In the months ahead, the Chicago quartet will be hitting the road with Touché Amoré in support of their newest effort, a follow-up to 2011’s Endgame. To see if they’ll be stopping by a venue in your area, head here.

Additionally, be sure to check back with UTG in the future, as more dates will likely be added to the outfit’s itinerary as the summer trickles on. In the meantime, let us know what you think of The Black Market in the comments section below.

Not what I was expecting and not “screamy” but still a pretty good album. Very different to their usual stuff. Guitars shine and Tim uses his voice to his advantage.

  2. Brian Carter says:

They certainly aren’t a stagnant band, keep putting out new stuff rather than recycle the same song over and over again. I agree, good album. I look forward to getting to know it better.

  3. Ron says:

I think this is possibly the most creative album Rise Against has made. Sounds a lot like Siren Song, which is really cool. My biggest problem with Endgame was that too many songs sounded similar. Definitely not the case here. Sure there are a couple generic songs, but overall each song sounds quite different. Well done Rise Against, well done.
