Casey Veggies has been relatively quiet this year, but today he kickstarted the promotional run towards his next studio release by sharing a new single titled “The Boy.”

It’s hard to know what to expect when Veggies delivers new material. For years he was a streetwise emcee, but in 2013 he became a bit more introverted with his efforts. “The Boy” marks a return to the mainstream, with radio-ready production provided by Hit-Boy and HS87. You can stream and download the song, in full, at the end of this post.

Veggies has not officially announced his debut album, but every major hip-hop blog is reporting that one is definitely on the way in the not too distant future. We will keep an eye out for updates and bring you more information as soon as possible.
