Get Mesmerized by Adult Jazz’s New Music Video

There’s no shortage of good music videos this year but there is a shortage of time to watch them all. To make the picking and choosing a little easier, go ahead and listen up: Adult Jazz‘s new music video should be bumped to the top of your list for this week.

The new Leeds, England band is a combination of a lot of genres–folk roots, pop, and even some prog–but they pull it off well. What we love about them, however, is how they mix their sound with visuals. In their new video titled “Community Rhythms,” the group play an excerpt of their track “Idiot Mantra” alongside totally mesmerizing footage of a dozen or so people being herded out of the back of a van, filing into a gymnasium, pounding their chests, and making seemingly cult-ish music on a sunny morning. Considering frontman Harry Burgess is a former teacher, his role in the video and the film’s location makes sense.
