Wiz Khalifa Reveals ‘Blacc Hollywood’ Album Cover And Release Date

Wiz Khalifa 2013

The wait is almost over.

After months of promotion and a handful of killer digital singles, HipHopWired is reporting that Wiz Khalifa has set an August 19 release date for his highly-anticipated Blacc Hollywood LP. The track listing remains under wraps, but the leader of Taylor Gang did share the official album cover art with fans earlier today. You can view that image at the end of this post.

We Dem Boyz,” the song Wiz has been promoting throughout much of 2014, is expected to be included on Blacc Hollywood. No other singles have been confirmed at this point, but back in February Khalifa did tell members of the press he had worked with Miley Cyrus while putting together material for his new album. “It might not be what everybody expects from me and Miley ‘cause we do like club records and fun stuff,” he said at the time. “So, the one I have for the album is completely left of that, but it’s crazy, it’s insane.”

The last time Miley and Wiz shared space on a track was Mike Will Made It’s infectious “23.”

“It’s cool as heck kicking it with Miley,” Wiz said. “She’s real fun. We ride Can-Ams through Hollywood and we just chill. Everybody knows she smokes pot now, so I can say we smoke a ton of pot and we just kick it. Oh, her Dad’s cool as heck too, Billy Ray, that’s the homie.”

We’ll bring you more on Blacc Hollywood as soon as additional information can be confirmed. For now, comment below and let us know your thoughts on the official cover art.

Hope the rest of the album is better than “We Dem Boyz.” The amount of auto tune makes me sad for Wiz.
