STREAM: Gnarwolves – “Smoking Kills”

Back in February, Gnarwolves graced us with a delightfully gritty compilation before retreating from the limelight to begin work on their self-titled debut. Though we’re still waiting on an exact release date, earlier this morning, we were given our first glimpse of the group’s forthcoming effort in the form of a fast-paced new single titled “Smoking Kills.” Check it out here via Noisey, and let us know what you think in the replies.

Thom Weeks, who makes up one-third of the Brighton-based trio, had this to say about the outfit’s latest:

“Lyrically, the songs are snapshots of my own neurosis, trying to capture those moments where you stop being rational and become a slave to your own thought process. The moments where you think you’ve completely fucked everything, before you speak to someone and they put life back into perspective.”

If you’re interested in catching Gnarwolves live—and trust me, you should be—the band is set to kick-off an extensive European run starting August 1. For more details, consult their official website.
