Atmosphere have been making music for over two decades. The guys run their own festival, maintain family lives, and still keep it real.

On Friday, July 11, the hip-hop legends took stage at the inaugural Hudson Music Project in Saugerties, NY, fresh off the release of their 2014 album, Southsiders.

As a music journalist, it is always new and exciting to catch up with up-and-coming artists, but there is nothing like having an in-depth conversation with a seasoned member of the music community. I didn’t grow up listening to the bars of Sean “Slug” Daley, but his contribution to the world of hip-hop music has always fascinated me. His wealth of knowledge on the genre is just as vast and expansive as Atmosphere’s career.
