UTG PHOTOS: Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties (6/26/14)

Under The Gun sent photographer Nick Karp to the Glamour Kills Store in New York, NY on June 26.

Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties is the solo project of The Wonder Years’ vocalist, Dan “Soupy” Campbell. On June 26, the headquarters of Glamour Kills in New York City hosted the first ever Aaron West set. 30-plus people showed up to watch Aaron West, a character Soupy made up from Long Island, NY, perform. While it should be noted that West was borderline shaking due to nerves, the set turned out to be a night to remember for all of the attendees.

If there were any people doubting the Aaron West project before watching the set, all skepticism flew out the window because of how great the intimate set really was. Emotional and captivating are only two of the many words to describe the evening.

As for the future of Aaron West, more tours will be in place, including a bigger run down each coast. A full band will also be created, including The Wonder Years’ guitarist Nick Steinborn. West’s story is far from over, so the future for Aaron West will continue to expand.
