Robert Kelly’s ‘Live At The Village Underground’ Will Premiere At The Rhode Island International Film Festival

Robert Kelly is the best comedian you have yet to fall in love with, and even if you have I am sure there is room in your heart to love him just a bit more.

Last month, Robert Kelly made headlines in the comedy world when he filmed an appearance at NYC’s Comedy Cellar at the Village Underground. That show, which was filmed by the one and only Bobcat Goldthwait, has become a feature length cinematic event that will soon be premiering at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. Robert Kelly: Live At The Village Underground will host its world premiere during a series of screenings between August 5 and 8, 2014. The festival has yet to reveal specific screening times and locations, but the organizers have set up a page for the film, which can be found here.

I had the great fortune to catch Robert Kelly live back in April and can honestly say he put on the best comedy show I have seen all year, which puts him above acts like Jim Gaffigan and Hannibal Buress. If you have the ability to travel to Rhode Island for this event I highly encourage you do so. We’re sending people down, and if you’re willing to make the drive we may be willing to buy you a hard cider post-screening. Follow us on Twitter and let us know if you decide to go!
