We recently posted a stream of the horrifying, bigoted version of Panic! At The Disco’s song “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” that was penned by Westboro Baptist Church members. After that caught the attention of thousands of people, they announced that they are picketing P!ATD’s performance in Kansas City. In response, the band has promised that they’ll donate $20 to the Human Rights Campaign for every WBC member to show up.
It looks like the band’s official Twitter has had some back and forth with the “church,” and in a recent tweet the band confirmed they will be bumping up their donation to $1000 since there were only 13 picketers ($260 if it were only $20 a piece) at the show. You can read the tweet below.
