On their second EP, Birdfeeder, South Carolinian emo outfit Big Awesome made a concentrated yet powerful ripple within the underground music community that has led into a culmination of exciting events for the duo. Starting off with the repressing of Birdfeeder by German label Happy Little Trees last month alongside the recent confirmation of their addition to The Fest’s coveted 2014 lineup, the perfect amount of buzz is now pushing them forward as they look towards the release of their debut full-length.

Entitled Party On, the record has few details surrounding it as of now, but who needs information when you have music? Rhetorical question, obviously, as we have the privilege of premiering an exclusive stream and download of “Foliage,” the debut single from Party On, after the jump. Building upon their previous material’s catchy sensibilities and turning it into a twinkling tour de force of power pop and emo colliding, it’s just the right track to start off a summer day with alternations between bouncy riffs and anthemic vocals, wrapped up in a fittingly fuzzy atmosphere.
