El-P Teases Material From ‘Run The Jewels 2’

As El-P and Killer Mike gear up to hit the road soon, we continue to sit around anxiously awaiting any further information regarding their followup to last year’s ridiculously good self-titled debut as Run The Jewels.

The duo have claimed numerous times that the album will drop this year and we trust that it’s the truth, so with that in mind, RTJ2 may very well be my most anticipated album for the remainder of 2014. I’m hoping that when I see them at Outside Lands in San Francisco in a few weeks that I’ll be showered in a wealth of new material.

Anyway, today, El-P teased a wee portion (like 15 seconds) of a new track on his Instagram which you can listen to after the jump. He shared, “very soon we will drop something in some form from rtj2. in the meantime all i can do is offer little peeks like this.”
