On July 29, former Rilo Kiley vocalist Jenny Lewis will be releasing her third solo LP, The Voyager, an album that has quickly become one of my favorites of 2014.
Featuring quirky, cutesy, and clever lyrics and story-like themes (her star-studded video for “Just One Of The Guys” is evidence of her lovable nature), The Voyager portrays a Jenny Lewis that’s matured as a musician and songwriter but still loves to have a good time.
You can stream all 10 of Lewis’ excellent folk-pop tracks over at NPR and make sure to pre-order the album if you enjoy your time with the advance. Her jacket on the album cover is so sweet!
