The Dear Hunter Debut New Song In Philadelphia [Video]

The Dear Hunter

Now that Migrant is a thing of the past and frontman Casey Crescenzo has climbed the Billboard charts with his first symphony, the time has come for the almighty Dear Hunter to deliver new music. Recently, the group was performing at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA when they surprised the packed house with the premiere of a brand new, unreleased song that as far as we know has no title. We were not on site for the event, but thankfully one dedicated fan pulled out their phone and captured the entire performance on video for the world to enjoy. You can view the clip, which appeared online this week, below:

This seems to be one of the most straightforward songs The Dear Hunter have delivered in recent memory, but that is in no way a complaint. I’m fairly certain I could listen to Casey Crescenzo reading the phone book and I would still hang on every syllable. He has one of those unique voices that demands your attention every time it reaches your ears, and this new material is no different.

We have no idea when The Dear Hunter will release their next album, but the performance of this song leads us to believe the answer may not be far off. We’ll keep an eye out for updates and let you know as soon as anything new begins to develop.
