UTG PREMIERE: The Most Dangerous Animal – “Snack”

Earlier this year — in May, to be specific — we had the chance to premiere a live music video for The Most Dangerous Animal, a promising punk outfit hailing from Flint, Michigan. A few months later with the band still going strong on our radar, we’re excited to bring the Save Your Generations Records outfit to your attention once more in the form a brand new track.

Entitled “Snack,” the cut is yet another shining example of the group’s ability to make one powerful piece of music as all the raw energy one could ask for courses through churning instrumentals and impacting screams. It never quite enters overdrive into a full-on “punk” track in regards to pacing, but speed isn’t necessary since just the right amount of emotion and enjoyable music is packed into its grooving three-minute run-time.

Follow the jump to give “Snack” a listen, and if it sounds up your alley, then mark your calendars and set aside that hard-earned cash as the band’s brand new Breakfast EP is set to drop September 30 via SYG. Featuring six tracks, the record will be pressed on 200 copies of 12″ purple haze vinyl with screen-printed artwork on its B-Side courtesy of Craig Horky.

Fortunately, pre-orders are now available for those who can’t wait to claim a copy of Breakfast, so go ahead and click here while spinning “Snack.”
