Shirts For A Cure Robbed At Virginia Beach Warped Tour

It makes me sick that I even have to write this, but Shirts For A Cure, a foundation which donates all proceeds directly to quality of life drugs for cancer patients, was robbed yesterday at the Virginia Beach stop of the Vans Warped Tour.

Mark Beemer founded Shirts For A Cure and The Syrentha J. Savio Endowment (SSE) in 2002. The man, for whom I can personally vouch for as one of the most genuine, hardworking, and caring men in the music scene, is asking for any help that is available.

Here is a statement by Shirts For A Cure via their Facebook page:

This is not a post we ever thought we would ever have to make, but unfortunately we were robbed yesterday at the Vans Warped Tour in Virginia Beach– anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities.

For those who don’t know, our profits go directly to cancer patients in need and so having our money stolen is a huge loss for our cause.

We really need your help in replacing the funds that were tragically stolen.

Direct donations can be made at www.syrentha.org/donate.

Thank you for your continued support.

Another way to support Shirts For A Cure and the endowment would be to purchase a bad-ass t-shirt! Check out their webstore here where you can get a sweet design featuring Transit, Masked Intruder, Rise Against, and many more.
