ALBUM STREAM: Bear In Heaven – ‘Time Is Over One Day Old’

Brooklyn synth rock band Bear In Heaven are putting out their newest full-length, Time Is Over One Day Old, on August 5 via Dead Oceans/Hometapes. We’ve already heard opening track “Almost” and their first single “Time Between.” Now they’re streaming the album two weeks early at NPR’s First Listen.

The new record highlights older ’80s synth as the band turns inward to look at their own delicate abilities and the fragile nature of emotions. As their press release notes, it’s an opportunity to hear the band at peace as they’ve “learned to cut back on that which is merely impressive and to concentrate on simply what is crucial.” We got a taste of that earlier, and now we can hear the full feeling encapsulated on the album stream.
