Stream Basement’s New EP, ‘Further Sky’

Back in June, to the delight of pretty much everyone everywhere, Basement officially ended their 2-year hiatus, and announced that they would soon be putting out a new EP, Further Sky, through Run For Cover Records. Following the release of “Summer’s Colour” a few weeks back, earlier today, the UK five-piece teamed up with Brooklyn Vegan to make the entire three-song effort available for streaming. Give it a listen by following the jump below.

The Ipswich outfit is currently slated to kick off a nine-date comeback tour on August 11 in San Francisco. If you want to get in on the action, you can find a full itinerary here.

On this newest offering, Basement has fully embraced their love for ’90s alternative, resulting in a cohesive body of work that is every bit as refreshing as it is nostalgic. Further Sky hits shelves next Tuesday, July 29.
