UTG TV: Warped 2014 With Nick Santino

Earlier this year, UTG TV was able to sit down with Nick Santino and This Century on a frigid New York night. Fortunately, we were able to catch up and reconnect with Santino at Warped Tour in Wantagh, NY. Thankfully, this time it was a beautiful sunny day by the beach.

Back in May, Nick Santino released his first full-length solo record entitled Big Skies through 8123 Recordings, which was a nice change of pace from having to deal with major label executives. This summer, you can catch him every day on Warped at the Acoustic Basement tent, where he gets up close and personal with his fans. He doesn’t just perform for them; he interacts with them. He sings with them.

In our exclusive interview we discuss his surprisingly not so Nashville-influenced record, how New Jersey crowds can sing like nobody’s business, and how he tweaks his full-band songs to sound right in a solo setting.

Check below to find out if Nick really saw a mouse during our conversation and for his UK tour dates with The Maine and Lydia.
