Whatever your opinion on Lady Gaga‘s music and persona, the girl can sing. And although his once-tight vibratto is starting to loosen, there is a reason Tony Bennett is known world over for his jazz crooning. The unlikely pairing announced on The Today Show that they’ve combined efforts and produced a jazz album, entitled Cheek to Cheek, that will be released on September 23.

To accompany the announcement, Lady Gaga released a video on her official YouTube channel titled “Anything Goes,” a sampling of their rendition of the Cole Porter number with a montage of the two generally having a good time in the studio; Bennett in suits and Gaga in a number of Cher-inspired numbers. More than anything she’s released yet, Gaga really shows off her vocal chops. Bennett would agree:

“She sings so wonderful and she’s actually really a great jazz singer,” he said. “She improvises every time we do a song. We do it over and over and it’s different every time.”
