I hope you’re ready to dance.

Some Tuesdays feel a lot like second Mondays, but thanks to music it’s possible to turn even the most wretched of days around in a matter of minutes. This morning, an up-and-coming band from California had that impact on our offices when they delivered a single titled “Cali Get Down.”

Radical Something are a fittingly named band featuring three guys who do not strike you as the kind of men that would create music that one staffer described as “club punk.” To be fair, another one said “West Coast bro pop rock.” Regardless, their sound is undoubtedly unique, and their latest single offers a catchy hook and bouncy beat to help the day pass just a bit easier. I cannot tell you what I like about this song aside from its tempo, hook, and melody, but I know it’s unlike anything else that has passed through our submissions inbox this season. Comment below and let us know if you agree.
